We at Caring Heart and Hands Ltd believe that taking care of an individual less able than ourselves involves many aspects, not just personal care. We discuss in detail with the service user and families the individuals needs, wishes and expectations.
All Caring Heart and Hands Ltd are trained to work with individuals that are reluctant at first in accepting any help, as we understand not everyone or their families finds it easy to accept that they may need that little bit of extra help. We never push or demand any service users, all staff are fully trained to advise on what would benefit service users and their families.
We also understand how hard it is for families that may have been full time carers to there loved and now need that little bit of extra help so they can step back and spend quality time as a family and not as a carer, we also fully support the families as well as our service users.
Most peoples thoughts of a Community Health Worker is someone that can come in and offer personal care, although we do offer this and all our staff are fully trained in this area, we also offer Socials, this could be anything from, shopping, hospital visits, doctors appointments to having a drive out to their favourite place and out for lunch. We also offer and Activity Day which we hold at the office once a month, where service users and families are welcome to come to, and they can participate in many different activities such as board games, arts and crafts, listening to music and can meet other service users and families over tea/coffee and cakes which are all provided.
