Training

Training

Here at Caring Heart and Hands ltd we provide all aspects of training that is required to provide good quality care, and is in line with all CQC requirements.

All staff have full mandatory training, these cover things like: moving and handling, medication, safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and First Aid.

We also work alongside Leeds City Council and send our staff regularly on courses that are held with Leeds City Council.

All our staff get paid to attend courses. These courses cover things like, End of Life, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Dementia and Brain Injury.

We also offer multiple In house training courses, for example: Pressure Sore Care, Challenging Behaviour and Equality and Diversity.

We also offer staff to complete their NVQ’s whilst they are working.

Support Calls

As well as Training we do support calls with each member of staff that works in the community, usually a Team Leader or a member of management will often go out into the community to work with staff, to support them in different aspects of their roles. This enables staff to gain experience that the management team have. Staff can request a support call at any time.
